Dear Lab Community,

We're making some facility upgrades to enhance your experience at Lab Studios! While these improvements are taking place, there will be some temporary class adjustments.

It’s been about a year now since Hanna joined the Lab community, and her connection to Barre has only deepened. "Lab is a constant I find myself keep coming back to. Not only am I working out, but it’s flowing in a way that feels natural—almost somatic!"

To perform well in a job that requires a great deal of self-care and care for others, it’s important to find an outlet where you can be playful, let loose, and push hard. Barre allows Jan, a secondary teacher and counsellor, to do just that. 

She’s required to be calm amidst chaos, compassionate and kind despite being challenged, while still being able to hold her space. This movement gives her the choice to do what she wants, meeting the needs that her work may not.

From the supportive teachers to the smooth flow of Barre sequences, there were many factors that made Elena shift from student to teacher at Lab!
