Goodbye 2024, Hello 2025!

Dear Lab Community,
As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the journey we’ve taken together in 2024. It’s been a year of profound challenges, transitions, and unexpected growth—not just for me as your founder, but for the entire Lab family. I want to take a moment to thank you for being a part of this community. Your trust, support, and love have been the foundation of everything we’ve built, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
This year, we said goodbye to our reformer studios. It was a decision that came with its own set of pains and lessons. One of the most important takeaways for me was the value of open and transparent communication, even during difficult transitions. It’s why we’ve made a point to give as much advance notice as possible for other big changes, such as the updates at Duxton and East Coast. These lessons have made us stronger and more intentional as we look toward the future.
Out of that pain, something beautiful emerged—Mat Pilates. What began as a response to loss quickly became a source of joy and connection. It’s now something many of you adore, and it’s a reminder that even in our hardest moments, there’s potential for something new to grow.
2024 was also the year LabX took shape. We became one of the first in the region to adopt this innovative workout, and the response has been incredible. Over 200 of you trusted us enough to swap your current packages to try something entirely new. This trust means everything to us, and it’s a testament to the strength of this community.
Behind it all is a team that might surprise you with its leanness. We are a small but mighty group, deeply connected by trust and shared purpose. The challenges of this year didn’t just test us; they brought us closer together. I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team and as a community.
On a personal note, 2024 was the year I learned to rest in trust—not in my own plans or abilities, but in the quiet assurance that everything is working together for good, even when I can’t see it yet. There were moments that left me questioning, moments I wasn’t sure how to navigate. But I’ve realized that not every question needs an immediate answer, and not everything needs to be labeled as good or bad. Sometimes, life is just unfolding, and stillness is not stagnation—it’s grace creating space for something new.
This year, I’ve held on to the truth that what we face today, no matter how hard, can’t compare to the beauty and purpose that can come from it. There have been losses I wasn’t ready to feel and truths I didn’t want to face, but through it all, I’ve found peace in letting go, clarity in the waiting, and hope in the belief that there’s a bigger plan at work. 2024 wasn’t easy, but it was necessary, and it’s left me stepping into 2025 with a renewed sense of faith and trust.
As we step into 2025, I am choosing to move forward with confidence. The challenges we’ve faced have prepared us for what’s next. The seeds we’ve planted this year will continue to grow and flourish. I am filled with hope and excitement for all that lies ahead, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for showing up, for growing with us, and for reminding me why this work matters. I can’t wait to see where 2025 takes us, together.
