Barre fitness is a total body workout focused on small isometric movements. The low-impact practice combines fundamental techniques of ballet, movement flow of Yoga, and precise body principles of Pilates which makes it an effective way to sculpt and create a long, lean and toned body in ways that few other workouts can.

Come in workout attire that you’re comfortable moving in and an open mind! Don’t forget a bottle of water and a sweat towel. Grip socks are optional.

Absolutely! Our classes are open to all genders, and barre is a great workout for any body type.

1) The emphasis on tiny movements works each muscle to its absolute edge, making it a great way to enhance endurance and strengthen muscles.

2) Most men have tight, stiff bodies through the lack of proper stretching; barre brings into play active and passive stretches, allowing you to lengthen tight muscles and improve flexibility.

Barre offers incredible benefits and interesting challenges for men that will surprise you when you start practicing!

Everyone can benefit and enjoy barre classes with us. No ballet, dance or pilates experience is required. A desire for a low-impact challenge is all that you need! Come as you are, have fun, and discover a new sense of grace and strength.

Check out our Teacher Training page for all the latest information on our Barre Lab Academy certification.

We’re so excited to be a part of your practice! You can start with Yoga Signature, which is our beginner-friendly class.

Yoga improves flexibility, balance and strength, in addition to the possibility of going upside down in inversions or arm balances. Yoga is also more of a mental workout and Pilates more physical.

Pilates classes focus on strength, muscle toning, body control, and flexibility, with the main emphasis being core strength.

Both practices focus on breath, alignment, balance, strength and flexibility. As they are extremely complementary, many people choose to do both, enjoying the benefits of a long lean body and a clear mind free from stress.

Strengthening your core in pilates will give you better balance in yoga; while increasing your flexibility in yoga will enable you to go deeper in pilates. get too flexible without the strength to support it and you might get injured; develop a lot of strength without taking the time to stretch, and you’ll also set yourself up for problems. where pilates draws in, yoga opens up, it’s a balance.

Our approach provides maximum benefits including long lean muscle toning and sculpting with no bulk, weight loss, endurance, metabolic threshold increases, flexibility, and significant improvements in core strength.

Our signature reformer Pilates classes are ideal alternatives to high impact workouts which apply high pressure on joints and hence, may cause injuries. On the flip side, Pilates is the perfect complement to lower impact workouts like yoga as you learn how to move more efficiently!

We encourage you to attend as many classes as frequently as possible to start seeing the benefits more quickly. In all of our classes, you are more than welcome to rest whenever you feel like it, take each class at your own pace, and re-join the class at your leisure.
